Lincoln meth dealer sent to federal prison

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison Monday for trafficking meth, the U.S. Attorney’s Office says.
Jesse Cervantes Jr. will also spend five years on supervised release for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine.
An undercover investigator bought meth from Cervantes eight times in spring 2022. The purchases totaled about 9 ounces, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
That May, investigators searched Cervantes’ vehicle and found two bags of meth weighing just under 1 pound. The meth in one of the bags was 100% pure.
