Lincoln meth dealer sentenced to 11 years in federal prison

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man will spend over a decade in federal prison for selling meth, the U.S. Attorney’s Office says.
Alphonso Johnson Jr., 46, was sentenced Friday for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
On Aug. 10, 2022, the Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant at Stacey Vanarsdale’s home.
Johnson was found in a bedroom.
In the closet, investigators found 365.9 grams of suspected meth and $217 in cash, according to the attorney’s office.
A lab found that 180 grams of that was pure meth.
Johnson will spend five years on supervised release after his prison sentence. There is no parole in the federal system.
Vanarsdale is scheduled to be sentenced for the same charge on May 30.
