Lincoln nonprofit hosts clothing swap with Goodwill, F Street Community Center

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Conservation Nebraska is partnering with the F Street Community Center and Goodwill for a clothing swap this week.

Gently used donations will be accepted at the community center near 13th and F Streets starting on Monday.

Donations can be dropped off from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. until Friday.

Officials said the clothing swap will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the community center.

“A big part of Conservation Nebraska and the Americorps Program is education,” said Carissa Englert, the nonprofit’s director. “I think a lot of people have heard of clothing swaps but a lot of people probably haven’t, so our goal is to just to let people know this is something anyone can do.”

Everyone is welcome to attend the event and more information can be found on the nonprofit’s Facebook page.
