Lincoln North Star Navigators find their way to season-opening win over Lincoln Southwest
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln North Star beat Lincoln Southwest 14-10 on Friday night.
The Silver Hawks got on the board first in the first quarter with a Thatcher Shelton touchdown pass to Gavin Stroup.

North Star’s offense picked up big yards on some explosive plays from Tyrell Chatman, Louis Welstead and Elias Schafer, but a blocked field goal left them empty-handed after one quarter.
But the Navigators rallied in the next three quarters to come back and beat the Silver Hawks on opening night.
