Lincoln Northeast Rockets fail to launch against South Sioux City
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Northeast Rockets failed to take off on Friday night, losing to South Sioux City.
The Cardinals hit the jets early and never let up, winning the game 42-22.
The Rockets had a fiery start after a huge run by Kamryn Bradford.
He set the team up well for a touchdown by Levi Sherman, who put Northeast up 7-0.
But the Cardinals were ready to fly. Tony Palmer got the handoff and blazed through defenders for a 50-yard run into the end zone.
Both teams are now at .500 with 4-4 records.
