Lincoln paramedics use Narcan to revive overdose victim

Emergency response team members used Narcan to save the life of a 51-year-old man. 

Lincoln Fire and Rescue and Lincoln police officers responded to a narcotics overdose at a home near 70th and Van Dorn shortly after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. 

LFR performed CPR and administered Narcan to the patient and successfully revived him, officials said, adding that the Narcan used by paramedics appeared to be successful. 

The man was conscious and transported to the hospital in stable condition.  

Police said they suspect the man had overdosed on fentanyl.
