Lincoln Police Department investigating string of auto crimes

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department is investigating a string of stolen vehicles and break-ins over the weekend.
All of the incidents were reported Saturday morning.
Just before 8 a.m., a gray 2021 Chevy Tahoe was reported stolen from a driveway in the area of Stevens Ridge Road and Oaks Hallow.
LPD said numerous personal items were also stolen.
The Tahoe was found near Arnold Heights Park and returned to its owner, according to LPD.
Just before 8:15 a.m., a white 2015 Kia Soul was reported as a suspicious parked vehicle behind a credit union.
LPD said the car was stolen from the area of Union Hill Road and S 56th Street on Friday night.
The car was returned to its owner, LPD said.
Just before 8:45 a.m., the steering/ignition column of a black 2016 Hyundai Accent was found damaged.
LPD said this was also in the area of Union Hill Road and S 56th Street.
Just before 9:30 a.m., a car in a driveway also near Union Hill Road and S 56th Street was found with its front door open.
LPD said a key fob in the center console was taken.
