Lincoln Police have no special plans for Snoop Dogg concert on 4/20

When asked what will happen if he lights up officials responded, "he'll be one of 10,000 people there who do."

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department tells Channel 8 that it isn’t making any special plans for tomorrow’s Snoop Dogg concert at Pinnacle Bank Arena, which falls on 4/20.

The date is synonymous with marijuana and has become a holiday of sorts where people celebrate by smoking the drug, especially around 4:20 p.m.

When asked what will happen if Snoop Dogg lights up on stage officials responded, “he’ll be one of 10,000 people there who do.”

Channel 8 was also told it’s tough to say if LPD is expecting more arrests due to the performance and the date.
