UPDATE: Police investigating after home is struck by bullets in north Lincoln

Authorities are investigating after a north Lincoln home was struck by two bullets Monday morning.

Lincoln police were called to the area of 25th and Holdrege around 1:30 a.m. on reports on gunshots.

Officers found six casings from a handgun in the street, and discovered a home near 13th and Holdrege had been hit by two bullets.

Police said a 24-year-old woman living at the home with her boyfriend and two kids told police they had just moved into the home. The woman said she had no idea why someone would target them, police said.

No injuries were reported.
