Lincoln Police investigating assault in Air Park

Lincoln Police are currently investigating an assault that occurred in Air Park.

LPD says they were called to the area of Northwest 50th and McGuire Rd., around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, they saw a female victim, who said she had been stabbed in the hand, by an unknown assailant.

She said he then fled the scene.

The woman was treated for her injuries on site, and did not go to the hospital.

She’s expected to be alright.

Meanwhile, the search for the suspect continues.
