Lincoln Police: Investigation underway after stabbing in the Near South neighborhood

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department is investigating a stabbing in the Near South neighborhood.

Just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were sent to the area of 10th and South streets.

When officers arrived, they found a 27-year-old man with a stab wound to his shoulder.

According to the victim, the stabbing happened several blocks north of where police found him.

LPD said the victim walked to this location before seeking help from employees in a nearby facility.
