Lincoln Police find runaway teens from Wisconsin

UPDATE: Both teens have been found safe, police said at 6:40 p.m.


LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department asked for the public’s help Thursday in finding two missing teenagers from out of state.

The teens are runaways from Wisconsin, LPD said on social media.

Madilyn Short and Braylon Timlin, both 15, were last known to be at a home near 98th and Holdrege streets on Thursday, according to police.

Earlier in the day, police think they tried to check into the People’s City Mission.

Madilyn is 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a maroon shirt and black leggings.

Braylon is 6 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen in a maroon shirt, blue jeans and cowboy boots.

Police said he was also carrying a black backpack.
