Lincoln Police release images of sexual assault suspect
Lincoln Police have released images of a suspect who sexually assaulted a minor back on September 11.
The images are from security footage outside Russ’s Market at 1709 Washington Street.
Even though they are blurry, police would like anyone who may be able to identify this man to call Lincoln Police at (402) 441-6000, or Crimestoppers at (402) 475-3600.
On September 11, shortly after 11pm, a 15-year-old girl was at the Russ’s Market, 1709 Washington St, with her father.
The girl was waiting outside when she was approached by an unknown man.
The victim reported the man put one arm around her shoulder and used his other hand to grab her ‘genital area’ over her clothing.
The girl yelled and hit the man, causing him to run away.
The victim described the man as a Asian male in his 40s, 5’3”, slim build, dark hair, wearing a long sleeved bight orange shirt with yellow teeth and browning gums. The victim said the man spoke “broken English”.
