UPDATE: Lincoln police respond to medical emergency at hotel, one dead

UPDATE:
The man that was found deceased at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel Saturday afternoon has been identified as 49-year-old Craig Haynes. Haynes was an inmate at the Community Correctional Center-Lincoln (CCC-L). He was employed at the hotel and was apart of a work release program through the CCC-L.
Haynes was sentenced 10- to 12- years out of Lancaster County for driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, false reporting, 3rd degree sexual assault and making terroristic threats. He had a parole hearing set for January of 2020 and a tentative release date of November 11, 2020.
His cause of death is still unknown and under investigation.

Lincoln Police were called to a medical emergency at the Marriott Hotel just before 4 p.m. Saturday.
After officials arrived, they say two men were unresponsive and not breathing.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue were able to resuscitate one but the other was pronounced dead.
There is no threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
