Motorcyclist injured in crash near downtown Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday night in a crash near downtown Lincoln, police say.

It happened about 8:15 p.m. at 21st and O streets.

A vehicle was turning left onto 21st Street when a motorcycle crashed into its rear passenger side door, a crash report says.

The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital but has since been released, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

He was cited on suspicion of driving with a suspended license, the crash report says.  The driver of the vehicle was not ticketed.

The crash has been cleaned up, police said, and all roads are open.
