Lincoln Public Schools again cancels class because of cold

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Public Schools has canceled class again.
There will be no school on Thursday due to the dangerous cold temperatures.
Lincoln will be under an extreme cold warning until 9 a.m.
The Storm Alert Team is forecasting wind chills as low as 40 degrees below zero.
LPS said all elementary and middle school activities are canceled.
Students and parents should check the district’s website for information on high school activities.
LPS also canceled class on Wednesday, and the district took a previously scheduled break on Monday and Tuesday.
