Lincoln Public Schools cancels all Saturday events due to winter storm

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Public Schools canceled all Saturday events amid extreme winter weather conditions.
The district said a decision to cancel activities is “always made in the best interest of safety for our students and staff.”

LPS canceled classes for Friday, giving students their third snow day of the week.
Classes are expected to resume on Tuesday, as Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
