Lincoln Public Schools hosts student-teacher interview fair
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Public Schools hosted a student-teacher interview fair on Thursday to build a pipeline for future educators.
The fair was held at the Steve Joel District Leadership Center near Cotner Boulevard and O Street.
Erik Witt, the district’s director of recruitment, said the student-teachers were in consideration for positions next school year.
“Our cooperating teachers are master educators and they go above and beyond to help support further our profession by taking on student teachers,” he said. “These student teachers then have the opportunity to showcase that expertise that they’ve gained from those cooperating teachers.”
