LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Refugee and immigrant women showed off their businesses at a celebration in Lincoln on Saturday.

The event was held by ECHO Collective, a group that connects women from other countries who have moved to the U.S.

“We focus on education that’s friendly to their language level, and we also build community,” said founder and executive director Kelly Ross.

They’re celebrating three years of doing business in the Lincoln area.

There was a wide range of products available, with jewelry, food and clothing from many different cultures.

Saja Kinani, the owner of Saja Craft, said ECHO has been helping her to network.

She also said it’s helped her figure out “what the way or path is to start our business.”
