Lincoln Southeast falls to Millard North in defensive battle
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Southeast’s season came to an end Friday at the hands of Millard North, losing 10-3.
The Mustangs got on the board first at Seacrest Field with an Alexander Michaud field goal.
They continued the scoring with a Colin Bogacz touchdown.
Millard North took a 10-0 lead at the break.
Cash Buettenback was the Knights’ offense, rushing the ball and making plays in the passing game.
Buettenback helped get Lincoln Southeast in field goal range before Maddox Brock cut the lead to 10-3.
The Mustangs kept up their rugged defense in the fourth quarter, keeping the score 10-3 through the final whistle.
Lincoln Southeast finished its season 7-3.
