Lincoln Southeast takes down North Star in impressive win
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Southeast Knights put on an impressive performance Friday, beating the North Star Navigators 31-10.
Knights senior running back Max Buettenback took the opening kickoff back for a touchdown, putting the team up early.
During the Knights’ first offensive possession, Buettenback scored again, this time from the goal line, to keep Lincoln Southeast up 14-0.
A field goal increased the Knights’ score to 17-0 as the first quarter concluded.
In the second quarter, the Knights continued their offensive dominance as quarterback Owen Baxter completed a passing touchdown to Pierre Allen Jr.
The Knights will look to keep things rolling on Thursday at home against Millard North.
Next week, the Navigators will host Millard South.
