Lincoln Southwest falls at home versus Papillion-La Vista
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Southwest dropped its third straight game of the season Friday, losing 36-9 versus Papillion-La Vista.
The Silver Hawks got off to a hot start, scoring the first touchdown of the game.
But the Monarchs answered, making it 7-6 at the end of one quarter.
The second period was all Papillion, which racked up another two touchdowns.
Lincoln Southwest kicker Landon Holmberg knocked in a 37-yard field goal to end the half, making it 22-9 Monarchs.
Lincoln Southwest drops to 0-3 on the season.
The Silver Hawks return to action on Thursday when they play Lincoln East.
