Lincoln Southwest girls soccer advances to championship game

LINCOLN, Neb (KLKN) – Lincoln Southwest took down Elkhorn South 3-0 on Friday.

Peyton Held got the scoring going, netting a goal in the 19th minute.

The score remained 1-0 going into halftime.

Ainsley Throener and Tea Tweten both scored in the second half to add to the Green and Silver’s lead.

With the win, the Silver Hawks advance to their third straight championship game.

Lincoln Southwest will take on Omaha Marion on Monday at 8 p.m.
