Lincoln Southwest’s Watt retires after 20 seasons
Lincoln Southwest softball coach Mark Watt is retiring after coaching the Silverhawks to four state championships in 20 seasons.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Southwest softball coach Mark Watt is retiring after coaching the Silverhawks for 20 seasons, according to the team’s twitter page.
Watt joined the Southwest staff as head coach back in 2002 when the school opened it’s doors. Since then, he’s won four state championships in 2008, 2009, 2018, and this past season in 2021.
Watt is the state’s all-time winningest softball coach.
