Lincoln Stars win Anderson Cup

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Stars are your 2025 Anderson Cup champions after a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory in Madison.

The Stars took a 3-2 late in the 3rd period, but Madison tied it up with 31 seconds left in regulation.

Then, in overtime, Forward Dashel Oliver scored a game winning goal to clinch the Anderson Cup for the first time in more than 20 years.

Lincoln’s 43rd win of the season Saturday also matched a single season high, with two regular season games to go.

They’ll face off vs. Tri-City Friday night at the Ice Box.
