Lincoln Weather Update: Sunday, July 5
An isolated light rain shower is possible during our late afternoon hours before we settle into a quiet and calm evening. Temperatures will drop into the upper 60s with scattered clouds and light south-southeasterly winds.
Monday begins another hot week as temperatures will soar into the upper 80s, with heat index values ramping up into the mid 90s. Mid-afternoon heating will lend itself to another opportunity for a stray thunderstorm, however the majority of the day will be mostly sunny with a southerly breeze of 5-10mph.
While pop-up afternoon showers are possible nearly every day this week, our main thunderstorm activity arrives Wednesday evening through Thursday.
