Lincoln woman killed in two-vehicle crash at Palmyra intersection

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln woman was killed Thursday night in a crash in Palmyra.

The Nebraska State Patrol said the two-vehicle crash happened around 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 2 and I Street.

A Honda Accord heading east struck the driver’s side of a northbound Hyundai Sonata, driven by 62-year-old Tania Greene of Lincoln, the patrol said.

Greene was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Honda, a 20-year-old Tecumseh man, was taken to a Lincoln hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

An investigation is ongoing.
