Lincoln woman punched in the face, mugged while walking to gas station Tuesday

Lincoln Police say a woman was punched in the face and robbed Tuesday night.
LPD says the 35-year-old woman was walking from her apartment complex near 12th and Arapahoe to a nearby gas station when she was approached by two men.
The men asked her for money and one of them grabbed the woman’s purse.
When she refused to give up the purse, the men punched her in the face, took her wallet and ran off.
Police say the woman had just finished her shift at a restaurant and had over $400 in her wallet.
She suffered an abrasion to her head and had broken teeth.
The woman’s husband drove her to the hospital.
