Lincoln woman sentenced after getting caught arranging drug deals — twice

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln woman was sentenced Thursday after being caught multiple times selling fentanyl disguised as oxycodone.
Wren Chamberlain, 22, got four years and three months in a federal prison, with a three-year term of supervised release.
In August 2023, a confidential informant helped law enforcement arrange a purchase of pills from Aidan Glenn.
Glenn told the informant that he was going to meet Michael Smith at a location in Lincoln to get more pills.
Law enforcement arrested Glenn, Chamberlain and Smith.

Chamberlain agreed to speak with law enforcement and consented to a search of her cellphone. She said she and Glenn arranged drug purchases from Smith together.
Her phone showed extensive conversations among Glenn, Smith and another dealer coordinating deals since July 2023, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Chamberlain soon got out on bail and began working with another person to sell pills to fill the void in the market left by Smith’s arrest.

Smith is set for a court hearing on Dec. 19, while Glenn is set for sentencing on Jan. 9.
