Lincoln’s first gynecologic oncology surgeon now treating women

LINCOLN, Neb(KLKN)- Bryan Health and Cancer Partners of Nebraska just announced the addition of Dr. Peter Morris and the launch of a new gynecologic oncology specialty, a first for the woman of Lincoln.

According to a Bryan Health press release, Dr. Morris is a board-certified gynecologic oncology surgeon. He specializes in the surgical treatment and management of cancers that begin in a woman’s reproductive organs. Dr. Morris has over 35 years of experience in treating and managing gynecologic cancers and is currently seeing patients at Cancer Partners of Nebraska.

“It’s an honor and privilege to join Cancer Partners of Nebraska to provide specialized care to a population of woman who need it most,” Dr. Morris said.

With the addition of Dr. Morris, Cancer Partners of Nebraska now features ten oncologists.

In 2023, Cancer Partners of Nebraska will partner with Bryan and office in the future April Sampson Cancer Center. That center will be located near 40th and Rokeby Road in south Lincoln.
