Lincoln’s Star City Shores closed due to staffing shortage

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Swimmers won’t be able to enjoy a splash at the Star City Shores Aquatic Center on Sunday.
In a post on Facebook, Lincoln Parks & Recreation said the pool near 27th Street and Nebraska Parkway would be closed due to a staffing shortage.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding,” the city said.
It’s unknown if Star City Shores will reopen on Monday.
The city’s other pools are all open and are operating under normal hours on Sunday.
