Lincoln’s Star City Shores hosting annual Dog Splash event
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A slew of dogs will take over Star City Shores during an annual event on Sunday night.
Lincoln Parks and Recreation invites canines and their families to the Dog Splash event at Star City Shores.
The event goes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and tickets are $10 per dog. Officials said the tickets are cash only and go on sale at 6 p.m. at the pool’s front gates.
Each dog can be accompanied by up to two adults and one child aged eight and older.
The event features an area for small dogs and retrieval activities in the lap lanes, according to Parks and Rec.
Dogs must be on a leash when not in the water, and people can wade in the pool to their knee height, officials said.
All of Lincoln’s public pools are closing for the season on Sunday at 6 p.m. More information on the event can be found on the city’s website.
