Lincoln’s Uncle Sam Jam will have food trucks after all

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The City of Lincoln announced Thursday that food trucks will be available at this year’s Uncle Sam Jam.

The Independence Day celebration will take place Wednesday at Oak Lake Park and is free to the public.

The vendor list includes:

  • Chi Style Kitchen
  • Valentino’s
  • Hog Wild BBQ
  • Kona Ice
  • Made it Myself Shaved Ice
  • Marshall Dogs

That list is subject to change.

Initially, the city said visitors should bring their own food because there would be no vendors.

The park opens at 6 p.m., with live music starting at 7:15 p.m.

The flag lowering ceremony will start at 8:15 p.m., and the firework display will launch at 10 p.m.
