Lincoln’s virtual Walk to End Alzheimer’s kicks off Sunday
This year's annual Walk to End Alzheimer's may look a little different, but the goal remains the same.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – This year’s annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s may look a little different, but the goal remains the same.
The 2020 walk will be virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event kicks off at 11:30 a.m. Sunday with a virtual opening ceremony.
Organizers are encouraging participants to walk in their neighborhoods or other open spaces to maintain social distancing.
A virtual celebration party will follow the walk at 6:00 p.m.
