The sprinkler system business might be seeing a little boost in business, but one local company has a method of not having to worry about their customers complying with the restrictions.

Hunt's Irrigation has gotten a few service calls this summer, but it's company policy for their systems to be aligned with the mandates. They decided to do this back in 2002.

“Lucky for us we haven't had to waste too much time on correcting the watering program of controllers as far as the days go but we're still fielding a lot of suggestions on how they can manage their controller with only three days to water,” said Jeremy Hunt, owner of Hunt Irrigation.

Their company makes sure the days are programmed correctly on their sprinkler systems to match even or odd addresses.

They have fixed sprinklers that have been under stress with this dry weather, as well as helping their customers learn how to efficiently use their systems.

Police have responded to almost water violation calls so far, and only one citation has been issued but that will likely be downgraded to a warning.
