LLCHD reports six more COVID-19 deaths
Over the weekend, LLCHD reported 373 cases on Saturday and 226 on Sunday.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department reported six more COVID-19 deaths on Monday.
LLCHD reported the deaths of two vaccinated men in their 60s, an unvaccinated man in his 60s, an unvaccinated man in his 70s and two unvaccinated men in their 80s, all were hospitalized.
Due to issues at the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, there is no new data for Monday’s reported COVID-19 cases.
Over the weekend, LLCHD reported 373 cases on Saturday and 226 on Sunday.
Local hospitals currently house 140 COVID-19 patients, 36 coming from other communities and a total of 15 on ventilators.

- Saturday, February 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Culler Middle School, 5201 Vine St.
- Sunday, February 6, 9 a.m. to noon, Culler Middle School
On Jan. 14, Health Director Pat Lopez announced a new DHM that lasts through Feb. 11. The new DHM includes a mask mandate for all individuals two and older regardless of vaccination status.

On Jan. 26, Lopez announced the COVID-19 Risk Dial will remain in the red category for the fourth consecutive week. The red category indicates severe risk of spread and impact in the community.
