LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department is investigating two thefts in north Lincoln.

On Saturday, a 28-year-old Lincoln man said several items were stolen from his car that was parked outside his home near Seventh Street and Fletcher Avenue.

He told police he was last in his vehicle on May 6 around 10 p.m. when he got home from work.

A loaded handgun was stolen, along with a carbon fiber holster and multiple 9mm rounds, LPD said.

According to LPD, his wallet was also taken from the car with ID, credit and debit cards.

Also on Saturday, a 49-year-old Wahoo woman reported a larceny at the same address, occurring sometime on Friday.

LPD said an unknown person entered unlocked standalone shops on the north end of the property and took several items.
