Local COVID testing sites closing again while infections soar

Nomi Health is blaming extreme cold weather as it has multiple times this month

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nomi Health announced they will be closing down test sites in eastern Nebraska today and tomorrow.

The temperature is expected to dip as low as -5°, with wind chill feeling as cold as -15°.  Thursday is going to be slightly warmer, but not much.

Since Nomi has outdoor testing sites, they will be closing their Lincoln, Grand Island, and Omaha locations.  Their indoor testing site in Council Bluffs, IA., will remain open.
