Local dairy brand donates 30,500 milk cartons to Food Bank of Lincoln
The Food Bank of Lincoln will distribute the shelf-stable milk cartons to food pantries and shelters across 16 counties in southeast Nebraska.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Local dairy brand Kemps plans to donate 30,500 “Giving Cow” milk cartons to the Food Bank of Lincoln.
Kemps partnered with Associated Wholesale Grocers to help get the milk cartons to the food pantries in Lincoln.
The Food Bank of Lincoln will distribute the shelf-stable milk cartons to food pantries and shelters across 16 counties in southeast Nebraska.
Kemps plans to donate nearly 400,000 “Giving Cow” milk cartons to other Midwest food banks in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The “Giving Cow” milk cartons have a shelf life of up to 12 months, instead of the usual shelf life of about 12 days.
