LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Love, the Locals holiday market returned for an in-person event at The Bay on Sunday.

Local businesses from the Lincoln community gathered to spread some holiday cheer. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was held online in 2020.

“Seeing everybody back at Love, the Locals has been so amazing,” said Katie Nieland, owner of Katie Nieland Art.

Nieland set up shop for the first time this year, after attending the event in previous years.

The Hope Venture set up shop at the event to help people wrap gifts and to spread positivity. “We are really passionate about spreading generosity here in Lincoln,” said Josh Petersen.

Love, the Locals held over 50 vendors selling items such as food and art at their 2021 holiday market.
