LPD: 73-year-old robbed while unconscious, following head injury

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — While walking into his apartment, one 73-year-old reports being hit in the head from behind. Unconscious for an undetermined amount of time, the victim woke up to find his wallet and keys had been stolen.

The incident happened on Monday around midnight.

Officers say the victim’s injuries did not require any medical attention. Also, there is no indication that his apartment was entered at that time.

Lincoln Police are asking for neighbors to review their security cameras, as they may have caught the incident on video.
