LPD: Apartment burglary, keys stolen
A woman broke into an apartment last night and was later found with meth

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — On Tuesday, March 23, at 6 a.m., police received a report of a woman kicked in the door of an apartment on N 26th street.
The 47-year-old victim told police that she saw a woman kick in the door of her apartment and go inside. LPD reported that the woman was 41-year-old Leanna Curiel. According to the report, Curiel threw items around the apartment and took a set of keys before leaving.

Lincoln police say she was found in a parking lot holding the keys in her hand.
Officers reported finding bags, syringes, and a pipe with meth residue that tested positive for meth.
Curiel was arrested for Burglary and Possession of Meth.
