LPD arrests wanted people in traffic stop

A traffic stop by Lincoln Police resulted in two people being arrested on wanted narcotics and theft charges.

The traffic stop happened near 25 & Randolph Streets early Tuesday morning.

The driver of the vehicle was wanted on narcotics charges.

The female passenger was wanted on narcotics and theft charges.

Officers also found a pistol hidden in a panel behind a rear seat in the vehicle.

One of the vehicle occupants, a two time convicted felon, was also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
