Woman robs Lincoln gas station at knifepoint

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department was called to a robbery in south Lincoln on Saturday.

A woman demanded money from a clerk manning the cash register, police said.

The call came in around 9 p.m., according to Lt. Justin Armstrong.

A 31-year-old female clerk said a woman came in the Super C convenience store on 21st and G streets and demanded cash while flashing a knife, police said.

The clerk gave the unidentified woman money from the register, and she left the store.

At this time LPD is not disclosing how much money was stolen but they did say the robber is a woman in her 40s.

LPD said it is conducting an active investigation.
