LPD: Casings found after reported shooting

Neither party found after reported shooting.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) –  Lincoln police found casings from two different firearms after reports of a shooting between 27th and 29th on Holdrege Street on Feb. 11.

According to police, witnesses in the area saw a 29-year-old and a 17-year-old man arguing around 11:30 a.m. over an ongoing dispute.

The men agreed to meet and fight in an alley near 27th Street, both men had left the area before officers arrived.

During the argument, several shots were fired between the two.

Police found fired casings from two different firearms located in the alley spanning 27th Street to 29th Street and Holdrege to Starr Street.

Neither of the men involved have been located, no one was found to have been injured by a bullet.
