LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A delivery driver was left without his vehicle Saturday after a robbery in a Lincoln neighborhood, police say.

Just after 8 a.m., officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle near 10th and A streets.

The victim was making a food delivery in the area and left his vehicle running and unlocked in an alley, according to police.

He then saw a man get into his vehicle.

The victim approached the man and told him to get out of the car, but the thief “sparked a stun gun” and took off, LPD says.

LPD is on the lookout for a 2015 grey Hyundai Elantra with in-transits.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
