UPDATE: LPD emergency and non-emergency phone lines back up after technical difficulties
At this time, it is unclear what caused the outage.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – UPDATE – LPD says emergency and non-emergency phones lines are back in service.
Lincoln-Lancaster County Community Center phone lines were down for around two hours.

1 a.m. – The Lincoln Police Department is currently experiencing technical difficulties with 911 and all communication phone lines.
LPD has provided temporary emergency numbers for those in while the outage is ongoing.
If you are in need of help during an emergency during this time, Lincoln Police ask you to call (402) 450-0860 or (405) 499-8650.
The cause of the outage is currently unknown and it is unclear how long the phone lines will be down.
