UPDATE: LPD estimates $75,000 in damage to Moose’s Tooth

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – UPDATE: According to Lincoln Police, Moose’s Tooth suffered an estimated $75,000 in damage.
Police found the pickup that hit the building on U Street, the driver, Ethan Uounkin, age 21, showed signs of intoxication and admitted to hitting the building.
Younkin was released after receiving citations for the following charges: careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, aggravated DUI 2nd offense, and driving with a revoked license.

Lincoln Police are investigating after a vehicle smashed into a Lincoln business Sunday and took off.
LPD says around 12:45 p.m. officers were dispatched to The Moose’s Tooth at the corner of 27th and Vine Streets after a white pickup truck hit the northeast side of the building. Witnesses told police the truck then left the scene.
Officers found the pickup truck four blocks from the crash and LPD says the driver was detained.
Authorities said a DUI investigation has been started.
LPD did not have an estimate at this time on how much damage was caused to the business.
