UPDATE: LPD investigating multiple armed robberies

Lincoln police are investigating multiple armed robberies.

The first happened around 8:30 Monday night at T's Stop and Shop at 28th and O.

Two men with masks came into the store with handguns and demanded money.

The suspects got away with cash and cigarettes.

No–one was hurt.

Police tried to track them down with the k–9 unit, but were unsuccessful.

Police say the second armed robbery occurred about an hour later at the Casey's near 40th and Adams.

Police say two men matching the previous description entered the business and took cash.

Police are still investigating both incidents.
