LPD investigating body found near Oak Creek in north Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department is investigating after a body was found near Oak Creek on Tuesday.

Just before 1 p.m., officers were called to Oak Creek near the Sandhills Global Youth Complex after a body was found near the water.

According to the police department, the body has been there for some time.

Investigators are responding to the scene.
